historic district of Tustin, California, The Acorn Group offers planning and
design services in environmental interpretation and education.
Our Team
Merging the
work of interpretive planners, graphic designers, writers, and architects, The
Acorn Group brings a wide set of strengths, skills, and perspectives to each of
its projects. Our goal is to have clients who are not just satisfied, but
amazed and inspired.
Our Projects
Our projects
take us from the arid deserts of the Southwest to the rocky shorelines of Northern
California and everything in between including the urban core. Our clients range
from government agencies to private and non-profit institutions. Our project
sites include educational institutions, visitor centers, ecological reserves,
museums, botanical gardens, zoos, and parklands.
Our Capabilities
Capabilities

plans and feasibility studies; architectural and graphic design of exhibits,
interpretive panels, and other media; large-scale curriculum projects and
environmental education initiatives; evaluation studies; and professional
development in the fields of environmental education and environmental
interpretation.
